An attack by aroused peasants which might have had serious consequences for the Jewish population of the village Dobrinka, Ukraine, was checked by another group of peasants organized by the local Soviet, according to an official report from Boriso-Glebsk.
Under the slogan. “Kill the Jews, save Russia,” a number of anti-Semites succeeded in provoking peasants gathered in Dobrinka for the market day. Employing clubs and stones, the aroused peasants began to attack the Jews of the village. The local Soviet immediately organized a number of peasants who dispersed the crowd.
