Rabbi Benjamin Cohen, of Louisville, Ky., recently elected to the pulpit of the Knesses Israel Synagogue, which has been without a rabbi for some time, has assumed his duties as spiritual leader of this congregation. Rabbi Cohen is inaugurating services in English, the first attempt of its kind in any orthodox synagogue of Indianapolis. The purpose of these English services is to attract the younger members of the congregation.
