A gift of $6,000 to be used toward a children’s pavilion for the Mt. Sinai Hospital of Hartford, has been presented to the Women’s Auxiliary of the hospital by Mrs. Mary M. Hooker, widow of former Mayor Edward W. Hooker of this city.
Mrs. Hooker has been a member of the Board of Education for the past 13 years, and also its president, and has twice been representative to the State legislature.
