The release of 1,500 certificates for Jewish immigrants to Palestine under the labor schedule does not change in any way the situation created by the White Paper, says a communique issued here today by the Jewish Agency.
If the White Paper remains unchanged then the grant of the certificates cannot be viewed as anything else but a temporary expedient to allay the indignation of the Jews, leaving the fundamental position unaltered, the communique points out.
