Palestine Grants Concessions for Manganese Copper Exploitation

Important concessions for the exploitation of extensive copper and manganese deposits in the Akaba region of the Red Sea coast, were granted today by the Palestine government to Messrs. Macartney and Kirby, two Englishmen who have been prospecting in that district for some time.

The mineral deposits are said to be worth nearly $125,000,000.
