The Arab Executive at a meeting today adopted the draft of an analysis of the White Paper and a reply from the Arab point of view made by Auni Bey. The draft was adopted as an addition to the resolutions taken at previous meetings to submit all resolutions adopted by the seven Arab congresses held in Palestine since 1921 formulating Arab demands for national autonomy and the annullment of the Balfour Declaration.
Adoption of Auni Bey’s paper is regarded as a victory for the secretariat, and a defeat of the Mufti’s extremist cohorts, who demanded that the secretariat be enlarged.
