Two Zionist Bodies Hold Mid-winter Conferences

Two nationwide Zionist gatherings devoted to the consideration of Zionist problems in the United States and in Palestine will be held during the weekend of February 7th and 8th in Washington, it was announced today.

One gathering announced yesterday by the Zionist Organization of America, will be the meeting of the National Advisory Council of the Zionist Organization of America, a body of 150 representative Zionists throughout the country, which was provided for by the Cleveland Convention in June, 1930, at which a union of all Zionist forces was created. This will be the first meeting of the National Advisory Council and it is expected that it will review the progress of Zionist events during the past year.

Commencing Saturday evening, February 7th, Mr. Emanuel Neumann, president of the Jewish National Fund of America announced, there will take place the annual National Conference of the Jewish National Fund, the agency of the Zionist movement for the acquisition and reclamation of land stretches in Palestine as the property of the Jewish people. Washington, D. C. wa stentatively set as the place of this conference. The gathering will be devoted to a thorough consideration of the Palestine land problem.

Extensive efforts are now being made to enlist the interest of American Jewry in the further reclamation of Palestine land in connection with the visit here of Mr. M. M. Ussishkin, the World President of the Jewish National Fund.
