The Jewish colonists in the Crimea will be provided with food by the Government, because of the existing shortage of foodstuffs in the Jewish colonies. The Commissariat of Food makes an official announcement to this effect to-day, stating that all the Jewish colonists will be given monthly rations of bread, sugar, and tobacco until the new crops are available, when repayment will be made in grain.
