An agreement has been concluded between the Jewish National Fund and the Prudential Assurance Company, the J.T.A. is informed, under which a special Assurance Department for Great Britain and Ireland is being established in London at the Jewish National Fund headquarters. Life and Endowment policies of all descriptions issued by the Prudential can be taken out through this Department, enabling supporters of Palestine to assist the Fund without any extra cost to themselves in taking out life or endowment policies.

For a number of years past the Jewish National Fund has been co-operating on similar lines with the Phoenix Insurance Company of Vienna, and as a result of such co-operation, policies to a total amount of £10,000,000 have been issued through the National Fund Insurance Departments on the Continent of Europe and in Palestine. The net profits to the Jewish National Fund under the Phoenix agreement have exceeded £45,000.

The agreement with the Prudential Assurance Company, it is added, also provides possibilities for the investment of capital in Palestine.
