Excesses due to an outbreak of Xenophobia are taking place at the Medical Faculty of the University of Stamboul, and numbers of Jewish students have been beaten.

A novel strike declared by the Professors for one day as a protest against the anti-Jewish student movement and violence has been without avail. The anti-Jewish agitation is being continued.

Bela Angel, a Jewish girl who is a third-year medical student, has been beaten by Turkish students, and warned that if she did not give up her studies at the University they would beat her so that she would not be able to leave her bed again.
