Ludwig Fulda, famous German Jewish poet and playwright, who is celebrating his seventieth birthday, is honored by the press throughout the country today.

The papers devote considerable space to a review of Fulda’s writings.

The municipality of Frankfurt am-Main where Fulda was born, has conferred honorary citizenship upon him.

President Paul von Hindenburg sent him a message of greeting and bestowed upon him the Goethe Medal.

It is now learned that Fulda resigned from the Jewish community two years ago.
