Mervyn Samuels of New York and a member of a widely known east bay family, dropped dead of heart failure in an office building here. He was 49 years of age and a son of the late Superior Judge George Samuels of this city.
A native of Oakland, Samuels had come West on a vacation to visit his sister, Mrs. Sayde Magnes. A widow and two children survive.
