Allege Orthodoxy Willing to Join Jewish Agency

The Orthodox Weekly here reports that the Gerer Rebbe has sent a letter to Dr. Chaim Weizmann, suggesting that orthodox Jewry will be agreeable to participation in the Jewish Agency.

Hitherto the extreme orthodox groups of Jewry have stood aside from the Jewish Agency, which was created largely through the joint efforts of the late Louis Marshall and Dr. Chaim Weizmann, at the time president of the World Zionist Organization.
