A five-day celebration to mark rebuilding of the Tiferes B’nai Jacob synagogue is now in progress here. The synagogue was destroyed by fire last January.
The sum of $20,000 was expended to effect repairs on the building which was built in 1926 at a cost of more than $100,000.
Addresses were delivered by Governor Floyd B. Olson, Rabbi David Aronson, Rabbi S. I. Levin and Rabbi Hirsh Heiman.
