Sharp criticism of the government policy which was charged with being inimical to the interests of Jewish trade, was levelled here by Deputy Wislicki at a meeting of the Jewish Merchants Union.
The criticism of the Jewish deputy aroused considerable attention in view of the fact that he is associated with the Agudath Israel, an organization friendly to the government.
Deputy Wislicki noted several trade facilities made available to the Jews but emphasized that most of the facilities are valueless in view of the agrarian government policy pursued at the expense of trade.
He also stated that the government withdrew its modification of the Sunday trading law because it was frightened by the Opposition.
