Mrs. Julia R. Austrian, mother of the late Alfred S. Austrian, prominent attorney of Chicago, died here yesterday at the age of eighty-five at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. Harry Selz.
Mrs. Austrian was born in Natchez, Mississippi. She was the widow of Solomon Austrian. In addition to Mrs. Selz, she is survived by a son, Harvey S. Austrian. Another daughter, Delia Austrian, magazine writer and poetess, died in 1928.
Funeral services will be held on Monday. Interment will take place at the Rosehill Cemetery.
