A protest resolution against the persecution of Jews in Germany and the withdrawal of their means of livelihood was introduced by the Catholic leader Segers in the Senate Foreign Committee. The resolution asserted that this matter would soon be brought up before the League of Nations and the Belgian Government will demand the adoption of measures to bring to an end this tragic situation.
