The Liberal newspaper, the Allgemeine Zeitung, has been prohibited by the military authorities because it carried articles against the United Minorities Roumanian Students Front for demanding a numerus nullus for Jewish students and pointed out the inconsistencies in Ukrainian and Polish minorities standing with the followers of Professor Cuza. At the same time, other newspapers throughout the city feature an article by Cuza, leader of the anti-Semitic forces in this country, protesting against Government interference with the process of ousting Jews.
