Admission that anti-Jewish violence in Austria has been carried on at the instructions of the secret Nazi directorate was made yesterday by nine secondary school students who were apprehended by police breaking windows in Jewish stores and homes Tuesday night and on previous nights in Wiener-Neustadt.

Police in Sankt Poelten also arrested several Nazis who were caught in the act of putting up threatening stickers on Jewish shop windows.

Despite energetic police action, Nazi attacks on the Jews are continuing, particularly in the health resorts. Among the victims of attacks are said to be some American citizens. The Reichspost, Government organ, referring to Nazi activities in the health resorts, declares that these attacks on tourists have been carefully planned in order to increase the difficulties under which the Government is laboring and to bring the tourist traffic to a standstill in order to turn the population against Chancellor Engelbert Doll-fuss.
