A formal letter to Berlin business establishments threatening them with a boycott if they continue to employ Jewish lawyers was addressed today by the Nazi Lawyers’ Association.

In addition to the previous order which the courts sent to lawyers commanding them to submit weekly reports concerning the firms still represented by Jewish barristers, this new edict adds further to the impossibility of Jews making a living in the legal profession.

The campaign of terror directed against Jewish lawyers is assuming such large proportions that no Jewish lawyer is permitted to act as a collector for a firm any longer. Numerous Jewish lawyers who displayed signs stating that they were willing to undertake collections for concerns were officially notified to remove the shingles. They were told that they cannot act as collectors because “they are unreliable.”
