Settlement plans sponsored by the Assembling the Exiles Organization, the Kibbutz Gluyoth, have been given new impetus by the recent decision of the Local Council to assign 500 dunams of land in possession of the Jewish National Fund, for temporary housing. In addition, 100 cubic metres of water are to be given to prospective settlers.

The Keren Kayemeth, the Agency Department of Colonization, and the Education Board of the Vaad Leumi, will be requested for its sanction of the scheme.
