The S. S. Polonia of the Gdynia-America Line, now on the run between Constanza and Haifa, Palestine, anchored at Port Said, Egypt, instead of at Haifa, according to word received here yesterday by the line. Haifa was the scene of much disorder in the last few days as the result of Arab rioting and further disturbances are feared in connection with the ceremonies attendant on the formal opening of the port Tuesday.
