Fifteen medical professors and forty physicians who are Jewish refugees from Germany have approached the government of Turkey with a memorandum sponsored by Professor Albert Einstein, requesting permission to take up medical practice in this country.
The signatories expressed a willingness to work for a time without reimbursement until they shall have passed the state examinations. The government is reported sympathetic to the proposal, which is now under consideration.
