Thirteen chalutzim have left here for Palestine as a result of the efforts during the past year of the local Zionist organization and the co-operation of the immigration department of the Jewish Agency for Palestine, which supplied the certificates required.
In addition to the chalutzim, a family under the capitalistic category, which requires no certificates, joined the numbers of those going to Palestine from all over the world. Ten citizens of Palestine who have lived in Chile for a number of years have been deported.
Five of the chalutzim were aided in obtaining their steamship tickets through a fund established by the Zionist federation here.
