Rectors of the universities today received representatives of the Christian nationalist students who have been agitating against their Jewish classmates and have been demanding that registration of Jews be restricted.

An agreement was reached pending ratification by Premier Julius Goemboes, between the rectors and student delegates, for enforcement of a strict numerus clausus by the enrollment commission on Jewish students next term.

In addition, a special employment bureau will be established for Christian university graduates, the rectors agreed.

The student leaders promised to guarantee peace in the institutions of higher learning provided the Premier, who will also confer with the students, endorses the settlement reached.
