Regret concerning the recent anti-Semitic university disturbances in Hungary and hope that the government would succeed in reestablishing peace were expressed here at the annual meeting of the Budapest kehilla, Jewish community.

The kehilla’s annual budget of four million pengoe, about $700,000, was balanced without a deficit.
