An emergency conference of 1,800 Jewish organizations of New York to consider plans for the settlement of German Jewish refugees in Palestine will be held on Sunday, February 4, at the Hotel Pennsylvania, George Z. Medalie announced yesterday. Mr. Medalie is honorary president of the Council of Jewish Organizations on Palestine.
D#ibing the conference as one of the most significant in recent years, Mr. Medalie said that plans would be #de to cooperate in collecting $2,000,000 as part of the national emergency campaign for settling German Jews in Palestine.
