Tension increased today among the Jewish population here as events in Austria steadily moved towards a crisis and Nazi rioting and threatened anti-Jewish attacks, especially in the provinces, continued unchecked. Government forces arrested scores of Nazis Socialists and others suspected of anti-government activities today.
