Dr. samuel A. Liberson of chicago, 5458 Harper Avenue, formerly a colonel in the Russian Army medical corps and a well known composer here, has been awarded the $1,000 Hollywood Bowl prize for the best orchestral composition of 1933. He won in a world-wide competition with more than ninety other composers with his symphony, “Wintergaten Suite.”
