Addressing ameeting of film artists, directors and producers in the Kroll Opera House here Minister of Propaganda Goebbels declared that the elimination to Jews from the production of films was essential in order to clear the way for talected young Germans.”

“Maybe this sometimes leads to human tragedies,” Goebbels added, “but our feeling is not easily affected by this view, since many of the tragedies of the last sixteen years concerned us, not the Jews.”
