Dr. G. Randolph Manning, member of the American Olympic Association, will speak tonight at the monthly forum hour meeting of the Rehoboth Lodge No. 38, B’nai B’rith, which will be held at Vasa Castle Hall, 138 East 149th street. Dr. Manning will discuss “Sports As a Powerful Medium in International Amity,” illustrating his talk with pictures of the Olympic Games of 1932. Dr. Samuel Adams Cohen will act as chairman.
Dr. Manning is convinced that Jewish athletes are entitled to a fair deal in the Olympic games scheduled for Berlin in 1936. He has for some time been lecturing throughout the East in an attempt to eradicate anti-Jewish prejudice in the forthcoming games. The prowess of Jewish athletes will do much to help this stand, Dr. Manning contends.
All the news concerning Jews appears daily in the Jewish Daily Bulletin.
