One dollar “from every Jew and Jewess in America” is asked in a circular letter sent out by the Religious Reconstruction Fund Committee sponsored by the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America. The fund is being sought to provide emergency aid to synagogues, Yeshivas and Talmud Torahs, for Jewish education in rural communities and other undertakings.
