The Federation of Chicago Jewish Congregations, consisting of the Reform and Conservative congregations of this city, after endorsing the boycott campaign against German-made goods being carried on by the Chicago Committee for the Defense of Human Rights Against Nazism, decided to raise $25000 among its member groups to aid the boycott work.

Lead in the drive was taken by Murray B. Louer, of Sinai Temple, who was named chairman of the Federation’s special campaign committee. Joseph M. Krause, president of the Men’s Club of Sinai Temple, pledged that his congregation would raise a minimum of $7500.

Members of Mr. Louer’s committee are: Oscar Stone, of Beth Israel; Maurice Bronner and A. M. Krensky, of Isaiah-Israel; Hyman Ritman, of Judea; A. F. Mecklenberger and James I. Loeb, of North Shore; Joseph M. Krause, Gottfried B. Bernstein, Louis Lippa, Charles Louer, Irwin J. Rich. S. D. Schwartz, Dr. Robert Sonnenschein, Arthur Strauss and George Sternberg, of Sinai; and Gustave Golding, of Washington Boulevard Temple.
