Cunliffe-lister Explains Arrest of Achimeier

At the request of Colonel Josiah Wedgwood, Sir Philip Cunliffe-Lister, British Secretary of State for Colonies, gave the date of the arrest of Aba Achimeier, Zvi Rosenblatt and Abraham Stavsky, originally accused of the murder of Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff. He stated that after his acquittal on a charge of complicity, Achimeier was “detained in custody for membership in an unlawful association.”
