Fifty delegates from twenty-six Jewish groups unanimously agreed to form a Federation of Jewish Men’s Organizations last evening at a meeting at the Seattle Talmud Torah.

The unanimous vote for a united Jewish front, climaxing several years’ effort to create harmony in the Seattle Jewish community, was hailed by local Jewish leaders as the forerunner of a period of communal good will.

“Seattle Jewry has cause to be jubilant that harmony has at last been attained by the men’s organizations of the city,” declared Otto S. Grunbaum, past president of the B’nai B’rith, who headed the committee which mapped out plans for the new group. Mr. Grunbaum praised the B’nai B’rith past Presidents’ Club, headed by Leo A. Meltzer, for its work in sponsoring the move.
