Reformation of Jewish religious services was demanded today by newly formed group of Jewish intellectuals calling themselves “Jesajas.”

The group submitted a memorandum to the Jewish community of Budapest, which is an officially recognized government institution, asking sanction of reforms. they demand curtailment of the use of Hebrew in services, common seats for men and women and hatless worship.
