Resolutions vigorously condemning the Nazi treatment of the Jews in Germany and demanding that the British government lower the restrictive measures limiting Jewish immigration into Palestine, were adopted at yesterday’s session of the Women’s Division of Mizrachi, meeting yesterday at the Ocean Crest Hotel in Averne, L. I.
Mrs. Adela Goldstein, presiding, urged that the activities of the Mizrachi school for Jewish women in Palestine be increased so that a greater number of exiled Reich women might be admitted. The organization adopted a resolution endorsing her request.
About 200 persons attended.
