Paul Kulick of New York City, recently named executive secretary of the Jewish Community Center succeeding Herman Alofsin, has begun his new duties and embarked upon plans for a camp-at-home project for children between seven and fifteen years.

The project is scheduled to open July 19 and continue until August 31, during which time the benefits of summer camp will be reproduced in the city for children unable to leave the city for a vacation. Activities will be under the direction of counselors from the ranks of the Council of Jewish Women and the Council of Jewish Juniors and will include arts and crafts groups, dramatic, music, swimming, games and nature lore. Outings, hikes and trips to places of historical interest will take place once a week.

The new executive secretary has had a wide experience in Jewish community work both as a professional and volunteer. He came to Schenectady from the Jersey City Jewish Community Center where he was in charge of activities. He was previously engaged in Y. M. and Y. W. H. A. work in Pittsburgh, Pa.
