Ziona Carmi of Jerusalem was given the highest rating in her class in oral hygiene at the Murry Guggenheim Dental Clinic here, it was announced yesterday by Hadassah, which granted her a year’s leave of absence from its dental clinic in Jerusalem to study here.
At the dental clinic, 428 East Seventy-second street, it was said that Miss Carmi’s average in thirteen subjects was over 90 for the first semester. She is the only foreigner among the eleven students in her group, others being from New York or nearby communities. She will return to her native country next February, when her study of advanced methods in dental hygiene will come to a close. Before coming here she was dental hygienist at the Clara Wachtel Dental Clinic, Hadassah Straus Health Center, Jerusalem.
