Miss Margit Friedman, Fencer, Ends Own Life

Margit Friedman, 35, Austro-Jewish woman fencing champion, committed suicide here today. Miss Friedman ended her life, it is believed, because of financial difficulties and reluctance to return to Austria in view of unsettled conditions in that country.

King George V and Queen Mary recently attending a fencing exhibition given by Miss Friedman, She was a friend of the Jewish actress, Elisabeth Bergner, exiled from Germany. Miss Berg### testify at the inquest.
