Frick Denies Ritual in Food Slaughtering to Wurtemberg Jews

Reichsminister of the Interior Dr. WilLelm. Frick yesterday rejected the request of the Wurtemberg Jewish community to be allowed to kill at least poultry according to the orthodox Jewish ritual, if not cattle.

Shechita was forbidden by the Nazis immediately after they came into power on the ground that killing of animals for food according to the orthodox Jewish ritual was cruel.
