There will be no Jewish delegation to the National Minorities Congress which will convene the first week in September at Berne, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency was informed, unless the congress takes a stand on the persecution of the Jews in Germany.

The congress, composed of representatives of national minorities in European countries, failed to take a stand on the treatment of the Jews in Germany at its sessions last year mainly because of the influence of the German minorities delegation, and the Jewish delegation to the congress declined to participate in its sessions. The late Leo Motzkin, then head of the Jewish delegation, declined election to the executive body of the congress
