Dutch Anti-semites Abolish Hague Unit

SIGN UP FOR THE JTA DAILY BRIEFING

Joseph David, rabbi of Salonica, flourished in the first half of the eighteenth century.

The local office of the Verdinaso—a union of “Dietsch” national-socialists, a Belgian and Dutch anti-Semitic group—has been closed. The group is not satisfied with progress in Holland which is the reason the local office was closed. The group will now concentrate its activities in this country at the Amsterdam office.

One of the Belgian leaders of the Verdinaso, the well known poet, Weis Moens, resigned because of his displeasure with the progress of the organization. What seems to be the intention of the group is the formation of anti-Semitic unity-front together with other anti-Semitic and anti-clerical factions in Holland.
