Canada Union Wins in Clothing Dispute

A clothing strike was narrowly averted here when the manufacturers gave in to the union demands for a forty-hour week and a raise in pay. Previously, the work week was forty-four hours.

More than 100 unemployed cloakmakers will benefit by the new agreement, since employers will enlarge their staffs.
