Establishment of a coalition government for the Zionist movement to safeguard the common welfare and coordination of financial activities, was urged today by Daniel Sieff, leading British Zionist, at a reception tendered him under the joint auspices of the Jewish Agency for Palestine and the two Zionist funds.
Daniel Sieff, who is chiefly responsible for having induced Lloyds to grant a huge loan to the Jewish Agency, urged that one body to handle Zionist funds be formed, consisting of the Keren Kayemeth, Keren Hayesod and the Anglo-Palestine Bank.
The Daniel Sieff Institute in Rehoboth, headed by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, is a gift from the British Zionist to Palestine. The institute specializes in agricultural chemistry.
