The 800th anniversary of the birth of Maimonides will be observed April 3 at Northwestern University. Speakers will include Prof. Zevi Biesendruck of Hebrew Union College, Dr. John O. Riedl of Marquette University and Dr. Edward L. Schaub of Northwestern.

The Jewish Charities of Chicago will open its 1935 membership campaign Monday night at a dinner meeting of volunteer workers, it was announced by A. G. Ballenberg, chairman of the drive which will seek to wipe out the $134,000 deficit in the 1935 budget.

Rabbi Jacob Freedman of Temple Beth El has received letters from the State and city Era administrators lauding his services on the Era board of appeal and grievances.
