The resolution further demands an increase in the number of immigration certificates to be issued by the government under the new labor schedule. It proposes that the government grant immigration visas also to Jewish artisans possessing $1,250. Likewise, it asks that visas be granted to persons possessing $2,500.

A demand that the Palestine government permit all tourists who have found occupations to remain in the country was also voiced today at the Actions Committee meeting in a special resolution.

It is expected that the session of the Actions Committee will come to a close tomorrow.

PROPOSE 3 BANKS

At last night’s session, the Actions Committee adopted a resolution to establish banks for the granting of credits to industry, agriculture, and for rural development. The resolution provides that the Zionist Executive must secure a substantial interest in these banks.

A sum of $470,000 was assigned by the Actions Committee to develop new colonization projects in Palestine and $300,000 was earmarked for final stabilization of the already existing colonies.

The committee resolved that $50,000 of the annual budget is to be set aside for political work and for security. Seventy five thousand dollars was assigned for the Baron Rothschild Foundation; $32,000 for maintaining an information service and for pensions; $25,000 was voted for a Bialik Foundation and $4,000 for an Arlosoroff Foundation.

The sum of $125,000 was approved by the committee for the administrative expenses of the Keren Hayesod. One hundred and ten thousand dollars was also assigned to pay off debts of the Zionist Organization; a sum of $100,000 was set aside for the support of Jewish education in the country.
