Rivalling the lavish spectacles that characterized the hey-day of Cecil B. DeMille and Morris Gest, the June Night Frolic, mammoth variety show for the benefit of the Jewish National Fund, will make its “million-dollar one night stand” at the Yankee Stadium tonight. The show was originally scheduled for last night, but rain forced its postponement.

Proceeds of the Frolic will enable the Fund, official land-purchasing agency for the Jewish people, to acquire additional sites in Palestine for the immediate settlement of Jewish refugees.

More than $1,000,000 in talent, scenery and equipment will be represented in the single performance of the Frolic, which will be one of the most ambitious dramatic musical productions ever staged. Every conceivable type of entertainment, from opera to circus acts, from symphony to jazz bands, will constitute the elaborate program in which more than 2,500 stars and musicians will participate.
