High Commissioner Wauchope recently visited Emek Hefer, formerly known as Wadi Hawareth, for the first time. Moshe Shertok of the Jewish Agency showed him the colony named for the late Dr. Chaim Arlosoroff. He was shown the sixteen settlements which are in the process of establishment and which will accommodate 1,300 settlers’ families when completed.
