Says Polish Jews Have Lowest Living Standard

“The subsistence level of Polish Jewry is the lowest in the world,” Dr. Leo cBramson, president of the World ORT Federation, declared in a farewell speech at a banquet tendered him here today prior to his leaving the country.

The economic structure of Polish Jewry can be rebuilt only by activities of the ORT which seeks to make the Jews productive and establish artels (cooperative workshops and trade-schools for them, he said.
